Reading around in wikipedia I found out that it is actually a sequel to Wolf'09 and that it completes that trilogy. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is remembered by many for its multiplayer spin-off Enemy Territory (which has its own fan-made revival called ET: Legacy ), but its singleplayer campaign also. Return to Castle Wolfenstein (2001) was basically a remake of Wolfenstein 3D.
